Remote Tools

Overview

The Remote Tools section within the Assets Management settings allows you to organize and manage remote access tools.

How to Add a Remote Tool?

To add a remote tool, follow the steps below.

Navigate to Settings > Assets Management > Remote Tools.

Click the New Remote Tool icon. The New Remote Tool page is displayed.

Note: All fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory.

Enter or select the required values in the fields. Please refer to the following table for field names and their descriptions.

Field Description
Category Group to which the remote tool belongs
Name Title of the remote tool
Command Actual command or script used to initiate the remote tool
Arguments Additional parameters or inputs passed to the remote tool command
Run as administrator? Whether the remote tool should be executed with administrator privileges
Bulk Command? Whether the command can be executed in bulk at once
Enabled? Whether the remote tool is active and available for use

Click Save.

The remote tool is added.

Note: The Edit and Delete icons appear when you hover over a remote tool row. Click the corresponding icon to update or delete in the desired row, and confirm your action.
