Purchase Items
Overview
You can add purchase items in the BOSSDesk platform to track and manage them for procurement, ensuring efficient ordering and optimal inventory control management.

How to Add a Purchase Item?
To add a purchase item to track and manage it for procurement, follow the steps below.
Navigate to Settings > Purchase Management > Purchase Items.
The New Purchase Item page is displayed.
Click the Purchase Item icon. The New Purchase Item page is displayed.
Note: All the fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory.
Enter or select the required values in the fields. Please refer to the following table for field names and their descriptions.

Vendor | Company producing the item |
Manufacturer | Option to define who can view the article |
Part number | Unique number assigned to the item by the manufacturer |
Price | Cost of the item per unit |
Warranty | Terms and duration applicable for the replacement or repair of the item by the manufacturer |
Support | Support services provided for the item |
Contact person | Main person to contact for issues related to the item |
Maintenance vendor | Company responsible for maintenance or service of the item |
Notes | Additional information regarding the item |
Click Save. The purchase items are added.
Note: The Edit, Duplicate, and Delete icons appear when you hover over a purchase item. Click the corresponding icon in the desired item row to update, copy, or delete, and confirm your action.
How to Search Purchase Items?
To search for an item in the Purchase Items section, follow the steps below.
On the Purchase Items page, enter the filter criteria in the Search field and click Go!
The purchase items matching the filter criteria are displayed.
Note: To remove the applied filters, click Clear Search icon next to the Search field.
How to Configure Page Settings?
You can set the number of rows displayed on the Purchase Items page.
On the Purchase Items page, click the Settings icon.
The Settings panel is displayed.
Select the number of rows to be displayed per page from the Rows per page dropdown list.
The page setting is configured.
