Email Templates

Overview

You can pre-configure the emails using the Email templates to customize and automate email notifications for various events and actions within the platform.

  • You can customize default email templates to match your organization's communication style for essential notifications like ticket creation, assignment, updates, and resolution.
  • You can insert placeholders to include dynamic content, ensuring personalized and relevant email content.
  • You can set up templates for different notification types, such as Ticket Creation Confirmation, Ticket Assignment Notification, and Approval Requests.

How to Add a New Email Template?

You can add email templates to send consistent automated emails for notifications, saving time and reducing manual effort.

Navigate to Settings > Notification Settings > Email Templates.

The Email Templates page is displayed.

Click the Add a new Email Template icon. The New E-mail Template page is displayed.

Enter or select the required values in the fields. Please refer to the following table for field names and their descriptions.

Note: All fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory.

Field Description
Template category Classification to organize templates based on the type of notification
Template name Title for the email template
Insert placeholders Dynamic placeholders to personalize emails by automatically inserting specific data
E-mail subject Headline of the email to summarize its content
E-mail body Main content of the email

Click Save. The email template is added successfully.

Note: The Edit and Delete icons appear when you hover over a template. Click the corresponding icon in the desired template row to update or delete, and confirm your action.
