Article Categories

Overview

The Article Categories section allows you to organize knowledgebase articles into specific topics, enabling users to find relevant information based on their needs quickly.

  • You can create, edit, or delete categories to organize the knowledge base articles.
  • Using this feature, you can restrict category access based on roles or groups.

How to Add an Article Category?

To add a new article category, follow the steps below.

Navigate to Settings > Knowledge Base > Article Categories.

The Article Categories page is displayed.

Click the New Category icon. The New Article Category page is displayed.

Enter the category name in the Name field. Note that this is a mandatory field. Then, click Save.

The category is created.

Note: The Edit and Delete icons appear when you hover over an article category. Click the corresponding icon in the desired category row to update or delete, and confirm your action.
