Edit Account Settings
Overview
In the BOSSDesk platform, the General Account Settings section allows you to configure fundamental company profiles and branding. Although optional, we recommend configuring this section for a more personalized experience.

The key features of the General Account Settings section are:
- Allows you to configure the company profile
- Lets you modify essential details such as company name, welcome text, time zone, currency, etc.
- You can customize branding elements such as the header color, brand image, logo, and more to align with your organization's identity.
How to Edit Account Details?
You can update the company profile in the BOSSDesk account settings to ensure contact details are up-to-date.
Navigate to Settings > Account > General Settings. The Account Settings > General page is displayed.
Edit or select the required values in the field. Please refer to the following table for field names and their descriptions.
Note: All fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory.

| Company name | Name of your organization. This information appears on web pages, reports, and e-mails. |
| Welcome text | Text displayed on the BOSSDesk login web page to welcome your users |
| Time zone | Time zone for the central location of your organization to manage services |
| Currency | Monetary identifier used by your organization |
| Beginning of week | Day your organization's work week starts on |
| Log in form footer visible | Whether to display the Login form footer that includes Forgot Password, Register, and Remember me links |
| User registration enabled | Whether new users are allowed to create their accounts by themselves |
Once the required details are updated, click Save.
How to Edit Brand Identity?
You can rebrand your organization to align the platform with your organization's updated logos, color schemes, and overall brand identity.
Navigate to Settings > Account > General Settings. The Account Settings > General page is displayed.
Scroll down the page to the Rebranding section.
Edit or select the required values in the field. Please refer to the following table for field names and their descriptions.

| Header color | Base color of your web portal header |
| Brand | Document or image representing your organization’s brand. When uploading an image here, please ensure the file size is less than 10 megabytes. |
| Logo | Logo of your organization. Note that valid images are less than 10 megabytes in size. The brand logo should have a transparent background. |
Once the required details are updated, click Save. The confirmation regarding the account update is displayed.
