ChatGPT Integration

Now you can integrate ChatGPT with your BOSSDESK application. enabling seamless interaction and workflow automation within your application. With this integration, ChatGPT can analyze ticket descriptions and provide responses based on your predefined workflows and categories.

There are two ways to use the ChatGPT Integration in workflow actions.

ChatGPT Responds to a Ticket: ChatGPT is configured to respond directly to tickets raised within BOSSDESK. ChatGPT analyzes the description provided upon ticket creation and generates a primary response based on the knowledge base and predefined categories.

Set Category with ChatGPT: This option allows you to utilize ChatGPT for categorizing tickets within BOSSDESK. ChatGPT reads the ticket description and suggests or sets appropriate categories based on the existing Helpdesk categories.

Steps to Integrate ChatGPT

  1. Navigate to the Settings tab from the Left side menu. Select the option Integration under the General tab.
  2. Select the ChatGPT from the options available.
  3. Fill out the details of all the fields and click Save.
  4. Enabled: Check the "Enabled" checkbox to activate the integration.
  5. Access token: Obtain the ChatGPT access token from https://platform.openai.com/api-keys. This token is mandatory for integration.
  6. Organization ID: Enter your organization's unique identifier.
  7. KB Article Categories: Choose the categories of knowledge base articles accessible to ChatGPT. NOTE: Any categories selected here will result in the articles under these categories being sent to ChatGPT.
  8. Assistant model: Select the version of the ChatGPT model to be used from the available options.
  9. Assistant instructions: Define the instructions to guide your users on interacting with ChatGPT.

How to utilize ChatGPT integration

You can utilize ChatGPT integration in the Ticket workflow. Follow the below steps: 1. Navigate to the Settings tab from your Left side menu. Select Workflows under the Incident Management tab. 2. Click “New Workflow” and select "New Ticket Workflow". 3. Please complete all required fields. In the "Actions" section, you have the option to select either "ChatGPT Responds to a Ticket" or "Set Category with ChatGPT" to utilize the ChatGPT integration. 4. Click Save.
