Clone Ticket

The "Clone Ticket" option offers you the ability to duplicate master information from an existing or reference ticket. This feature eliminates the need to recreate the same ticket type or address a recurring error. By cloning tickets, you can save time and leverage existing information for the creation of new tickets.

Example Scenario: When encountering a recurring issue or needing to create tickets with similar information, the "Clone Ticket" option allows users to replicate relevant details, streamlining the ticket creation process and ensuring consistency.

Instructions to Clone Tickets

  1. Navigate to the Tickets tab from your Left side menu. Choose the ticket you want to clone.
  2. Click the "Action" button.
  3. Select the “Clone Ticket” option.
  4. You can view the fresh ticket creation page with information like the Title and description copied from the reference ticket. You can change the information as needed.
  5. Click “Save”.
